Dorna Servo EPS B1 Series is a new and smarter servo drive of Dorna technology. It is equipped with the powerful EtherCAT® field-bus protocol, which allows for short data update times, low communication jitter, and reduced hardware costs. The EPS-B1 series servo drives also have load inertia detection capabilities, automatically detecting load inertia to improve gain tunings. These servo drives can be easily programmed for internal position, internal speed, and internal torque controls, eliminating the need for PLCs in certain applications. The new algorithms used in these servo drives allow for shortened positioning time and quick instruction tracking, with a response frequency of up to 1KHz bandwidth. The servo drives may process pulse forms up to 4Mbps, both in entirely-closed loop and semi-closed loop controls. Additionally, they have a capacity of 3 times overload, which improves the servo’s responsiveness and makes them more reliable.
